WE THE PEOPLE ARE BACK!

Code

of Conduct and Rules.

What is the purpose for LUCA?

LUCA is an action organization and our purpose is to educate and assist communities and families whenever our presence will make a difference. We are helpers when help is otherwise not available and we shine a light to celebrate great elected servants and teachers or we shine a light to expose those same servants when they exploit their roles to compromise freedoms.

OVERVIEW

At Latinos United for Conservative Action we require that all of our volunteers conduct themselves according to the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and behavior when representing LUCA. This includes, but is not necessarily limited to, full compliance with all legal obligations imposed by statute or any other source of law. This Code establishes the standards of behavior that must be met by all volunteers. Where these standards are not met, appropriate disciplinary action will be taken. In cases where the breach involves serious misconduct, this may result in your expulsion from LUCA.

OPERATION

The purpose of this policy is to make it clear what LUCA expects from volunteers,, and volunteers are required to be familiar with and comply with the terms of this policy at all times. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action, including potentially being expelled from LUCA. To the extent that this policy describes benefits and entitlements for volunteers, they are discretionary in nature and are also not intended to be contractual. LUCA may unilaterally introduce, vary, remove or replace this policy at any time.

STANDARDS OF CONDUCT

The standards expected of LUCA Volunteers include:

Compliance

Compliance with all LUCA and policies, procedures, rules, regulations and contracts; Compliance with all laws; Compliance with all reasonable and lawful instructions given by or on behalf of LUCA; To be honest and fair with LUCA members, leadership, co-host organizations and the general public and to treat them with courtesy and respect;

Action

To be faithful and diligent and actively pursue LUCAs best interests at all times; To volunteer in a safe and compliant manner and to observe all volunteer spaces' health and safety rules and responsibilities. Refraining from any discriminatory, bullying or harassing behavior towards LUCA members, leadership, co-host organizations and the general public, Organization management and the general public.

Communication

To not make any statements to the media about LUCAs internal operations, plans and procedures unless expressly authorized to do so by LUCA. We have a Media Team to handle all Media requests and they should be referred to our President, Melinda Ann.
